I was shocked to learn today that frequent Sharp as a Marble commenter Straightarrow has passed away.
Charles was always his namesake, never pulling punches or hiding his true feelings. He came across as brash, crotchety, and headstrong and for that I always enjoyed his comments even if I didn't fully agree with them. I never met Charles in real life, but his loss still affects me.
