"Bad werewolf," Franks said from the entrance. "Sit." The werewolf swung her head to assess the interloper. I slammed the jagged end of the pool cue into her throat. It was like a blood explosion. She howled in sudden agony, claws flying to the would. Franks raised his Glock and calmly put a single round of silver 10mm through her brain, ending the scream forever. She collapsed. "Stay…" Franks walked up, assessed the body, then fired two more rounds into the corpse just to be sure. "Good werewolf."

I always liked Agent Franks, and his choice of a 10mm Glock 20 just reinforced my opinion of him! With that, here's my new toy, a squeaky clean, brand spanking new, Glock 20 (full size, not the slim frame).
My Glock 29, while a great pistol, is just too small for my hands. The 10mm is a stout round, and the 'pinky under the magazine' grip slipped too much for me to make long strings of shots sans re-gripping. While I trusted my life to the 29, the only practice I ever got with it was at the range. Now, I can take the 20 to USPSA and run competition with it. I plan on eventually getting some Warren / Sevigny sights at some point, more than likely the Sevigny Carry Sight Set. I also like the 15+1 round capacity of the 20.
For my holster, I went with the Comp-Tac Minotaur and got the full blown model, not the Spartan. I cannot believe how much more comfortable this holster is. It carries MUCH better than the 29 in the CTAC as it feels even thinner. The butt of the 20 of course sticks out further, and so I'll probably have to experiment with a forward cant to prevent printing when I sit, but the few minutes I had it on when I got home was amazingly comfortable.
Full write up and range report later when I have some extra time. Until then… NEW TOYS!
