*SPOILERS* Stop reading if you've not seen it.

I like the show but would like to see more shooting and less prancing around of the Drama Llama, but it's a 'reality' series because in real life, you generally find yourself thrown into a fancy house with 20 strangers and have to shoot stuff with random weaponry.

Anyway, if you've not already figured it out from all the blog activity, Caleb was eliminated and that really takes away from the urge to watch the rest of the series. Surprisingly, my wife is still interested in it so we probably will continue to put it on the DVR for later playback.

This episode had more Drama Llama droppings than any other so far, and it primarily revolved around Caleb and Adam Benson. Now, I realize that the show is edited for effect and that we didn't get to hear 100% of all the conversations (and I didn't get a chance to listen to Gun Nuts last night to hear more detail), but the Mrs. and I were both in agreement.

First, Caleb did the right thing by not joining the conspiracy, but he did it in the wrong way. This was a reality show. You survive by not making enemies. Personally, I think Caleb's best thing to do would have been to tell Adam he wasn't going to go along with his plan and that he didn't agree with it then leave and keep his mouth shut. Without Caleb's vote, the attempt to pit JJ and Blake against each other would have probably backfired. I understand why Caleb did what he did, but he could have played that card MUCH better and most of the tension was because of his speaking out.

As for Adam Benson, he's a prick of the highest caliber. I was in the Marines Adam, and 'ratting people out' was NOT an unspoken, unbreakable rule. Esprit De Corps matters tremendously, unit cohesion is important, and a Lance Corporal running to a Gunny to tattle on a PFC for coming in late is one thing, but telling a Sergeant that several other Marines are conspiring to get him demoted is completely different. Integrity matters more than that, and Adam showed absolutely none of that.

Now, the editors edit the video for the most effect, but it was clear that Adam intended to 'manipulate' Caleb (his words) and when he got caught, he decided to hide behind a faux-honor-rage, and that was disgusting. Adam deserves to go home as well, but he outshot Caleb fair and square. However, I have a feeling he's going to be pitted against JJ or Blake at some point, and his backstabbing ass will be off the show.

I would of course preferred that Caleb won the elimination challenge and believe it would have been much better for the team overall, but Caleb didn't play the game correctly and lost.
