Well, I take that back partially: A single-action Para is as nice a place to start building a gun as any other cast-frame 1911.

Yeah, I'm not sure how some letters on the side, or the fact that some unknown person used it once, make it worth starting the bidding at $2000.

Now if it was one that Todd Jarrett had been using that weekend, it would make a little more sense. Not enough for me to bid on it. But a little more sense nonetheless.

I'll add that Todd's a great guy and one of the best action pistol shooters ever, but a basically stock Para LDA wouldn't be worth $2k+ had he personally shat it out. ;)
