At the request of John Hardin, last year’s chart comparing the number of firearms to the number of firearm-related deaths in America has been updated to take into account 2007’s numbers:

Lots of graphs, statistics, as well as the data used so that you can check his numbers.

I'd like to see something similar from the other side proving their points, but we know it's hard to graph feelings.

Hell, I would love to see that kind of thing from the anti-rights nuts myself, if only to see if there were some datasets out there that I missed in my searching. My cute little chart is far from definitive, and any other information other folks can bring to the table would only help clera up its finer points.

But, yeah, I will not be holding my breath on that.
