Y'know Robb, I read a few of that guy's posts, & some of his stuff just "ain't right".

Parts of his medical advice is plain wrong (being further reviewed by a professional in the field), & his understanding of cutlery is plain wrong.

Actually Robb, if I'm not being intrusive, what is in your bug out bag? Being somewhat of a gear whore, I'm always interested in what preparations people have ready. Feel free to tell me to mind my own business if I'm being nosy!

Our BoBs (his and hers) follow the ideas outlined at Listening to Katrina. Enough so we can sleep on a friend's couch for a while if need be.

I've also tossed a SOG S61 into each and some nice headlamps because they were on sale at Woot in pairs and I'm a gear whore too. But I try to keep them light and focused on "oh sh!t the house is burning down!" instead of "survival." When the alarm goes off I want those going out the window faster than I'll be able to heave a full load out of 5.56. That's in another, nearby, bag if I have time. ;)

Actually my medical posts aren't written by me but by an ER Doctor with years of experience in the field. Where did you receive your medical degree?

Anyone can give general statements such as "some of his stuff just ain't right" but such statements need to be backed up by specific examples and corrections where needed.

As for my "understanding of cutlery" again feel free to enlighten us.
