As everyone knows, I'm a 10mm guy. Call it a soft spot for a round that's expensive and tends to cause wormholes to open up due to the blast, I just love my 10mm.

I bought my Glock 29 because I assumed that concealing a subcompact would be easier than a full size. After doing so for years, I've realized that the biggest hurdle to concealing is the width of the firearm. I'm 6'3", medium build so a longer firearm isn't as much of an issue as it would be for someone of a smaller stature.

My G29 is 32.5mm wide. The full size G20 is also 32.5mm wide. Adding .82" onto the OAL of the gun as well as 1.02" to the height isn't that big of a deal for me. What it does give me is a little more barrel (.82", imagine that), an extra 5 rounds, and a grip that has a bit more room for my giant hands to grab a hold of.

I wonder if there's anyone in the Tampa area who would want to downsize their Glock 20 to a 29 and would be willing to make a trade? I guess I could try Tampa Gun Trader or maybe walk around with a sign at the next gun show.
