Speaking of cars as weapons, Tam and commenter aczarnowski about the PSH from people discussing allowing patrons to both enter bars AND possibly have a drink while armed

That'd make for one hell of a demonstration though, wouldn't it? Have somebody like Caleb shoot an IDPA stage under time. Then have him take out the same targets with a Civic. See which one is faster.

Obviously it would have to be a stage with no hostages. Or for grins make the shooting portion your standard target and then for the Civic round make them all hostages to drive the point home.

Scene: Outdoor shooting range.

Caleb/Tam/Robb/AnyoneButTheNuge walks past a shooting booth filled with liquor bottles and stops at the adjacent booth: Some people think just being in the same place as alcohol means law abiding citizens can't be trusted to make proper decisions about guns.
NotNuge unholsters his weapon and is shown shooting only the thug targets in a crowd of bystanders.

NotNuge: But driving a car? We can trust drivers not to drink.

Over NotNuge's shoulder a car careens from off-screen onto the range and runs over *all* of the targets and after racing back off-screen is heard to crash. Cue rolling hubcap and that poor cat.
