One – Have a product people want at a price they can afford.

Two – Understand that your customer is the only reason you are in business.

For example, Five Guys Burgers and Fries. They have signs like this

I love capitalism.

And that is why Five Guys will continue to receive my business.

They make a fixed number of things. They make them well. They make them fast. And they do all that while treating us, the customers, as their employers.

That is a win in my book.

Five Guys is one of the few things that makes up for living in the Maryland suburbs of DC. The chain was born across the river in NoVA.

Five Guys is an excellent place to take the family for dinner! Their menu is small enough that they can concentrate on quality instead of novelty, and the service can't be beat. Definitely goes on my list of favorite burger joints.

I love me some 5 Guys burgers. It holds the number 2 spot on my "fast food burger" list, with Numero Uno being In-N-Out.

I grew up in Fairfax County; as good as the food at the franchise Five Guys restaurants are, you really need to hit up one of the originals in Northern Virginia to go from "excellent" to "sublime."

I've been to a few Five Guys, and I've only had one less-than-positive experience, but that was because the place was so crowded with tourists that service slowed down.

Do one thing and do it well; I hope they can make the trasition from local chain to starbucks- chain. And they surely do deserve it

And they have a darn good burger...probably the best fast food burger.
