Just a quick video of my first shots with the new Bison Armory upper
Worked like a champ. While the sights were not zeroed properly, the rounds went exactly into the same place when I picked the same point of aim. At some point I'm going to try to get a good zero on the sights, maybe try to find a laser bore sight. But it was still dead accurate at 100 yards.
I need to pick up a MagPul Angled Fore Grip at some point as I think due to what's most comfortable for me, that would help. The aluminum guards are not the easiest thing to grab a hold of although it was really interesting to be able to feel the heat from the barrel without it being too hot to hold (the holes vented the heat, but the guard stayed cool to the touch).
And of course, one day when someone loves me enough to drop a T-bill or two in the tip jar, I'll pick up a Trijicon. Until then, I will ensure I can hit a dinner plate sized circle at 100 yards with irons and call that good enough.
