Self Defense

Remember the story from yesterday about the gentleman who defended his life with his gun, killing one of his assailants?

Then the picture here should make you smile

A man who appears to be the homeowner (pictured left) returned home shortly after 8 a.m. and started cleaning his driveway of the blood left behind by the assailants.

I also like the current version of the story where the homeowner is listed as the victim, rather than the armed criminals who suffered "acute failure of the victim selection process". Based on comments, the original version was somewhat confused on who was the victim.

The missing guy has "distinctive tattoos" that should help id him, and please call if you have info... as far as what the tattoos are, or what makes them so distinctive, well, just make a guess. I guess they just want people to call in anybody they see with tattoos.

Blood is not a Hazardous Material, it's a Bio Hazard. As such you can mitigate it very easily by rinsing it down the nearest storm drain.

That aside, it is indeed refreshing to see a media outlet refer to the victim as a victim and the perpetrator as "the suspect killed".

No doubt family members will crawl out of the wood work to tell the world that the deceased was "cleaning up his life, we going to get a GED, loved his babies by three different women, and was going to look for work next week."
