Some petty tyrant wants a national database of felon DNA
The House is expected to vote Wednesday on whether to require all felons to be tested so their DNA can be added to a national database for the rest of their lives. Current law requires DNA collection from people convicted of homicide, negligent homicide, first- and second-degree assault, sexual assault, kidnapping, arson, burglary and robbery.
All felons. Including people who sell cat pelts, lobsters that are too short, or intentionally trip a horse.
I don't demand that this stops to protect child molesters, murderers, or thieves, I do it to protect the 99% of the population that are not dangerous but unknowingly commit 3 felonies a day.
