Yesterday at lunch, the restaurant happened to have CNN on the boob-tube. I couldn't hear it, it was across the room and probably muted, but from the splashy graphics I could tell it was all about the dire warnings of how people are dying in the streets by the droves because of a lack of medical care. "UNEMPLOYED AND UNINSURED!!!!", "BREAKING NEWS – OVER 20,000,000,000,000 AMERICANS NOW WITHOUT INSURANCE!!", "LACK OF HEALTH INSURANCE TO BLAME FOR GLOBAL WARMING!", "GLOBAL WARMING CAUSED BY LACK OF HEALTH INSURANCE", "GRAVITY LINKED TO LACK OF HEALTH CARE – FAT PEOPLE HARDEST HIT!". It just kept going on and on.
No bias there I assure you but I was shocked at something else I saw.
In every commercial break there was an ad telling people to call their misrepresentatives and demand that the Health Control bill NOT be passed. Sometimes two in the same break.
So, here's CNN shilling for Government Run Centralized Health Command and yet the only way they can stay afloat is to run ads that inform their viewers that CNN is full of shit.
