Great idea. Just make sure that the mug isn't Desert Tan or OD Green, or it will not pass the Mayor Bloomberg Acceptability Standard, and will be considered an "assault" mug.

I have been pondering this and I have been wondering. Could the mug handle be viewed technically as a "pistol grip". If so, this mug may be illegal In Massachusetts, New York, and California. :)

In CA pistol grips only matter if you have a rifle magazine that doesn't require a "tool" for removal - the point of a bullet has been legislatively defined as a tool.

Of course we know that any assault mug that Rob designs would definitely be semi auto if not full capable of holding a pre-ban 20 ounce magazine.(he can't help it...it's a Marine thing)

I feel your pain Dirt. I was working in Cali for a few years, and when I finally returned to a place with less insane gun laws, I celebrated by purchasing some firearms that say "not for sale in California" on the case.
