The LDA risks alienating the GFWs. Why risk all the advances we've made over silly 1911 triggers? The LDA may be okay in Florida and Indiana, but in all honesty, people in New York and South Carolina just aren't ready for it yet. We need to compromise and give them time to catch up.

As Joe knows, truth is relative, so the LDA can be the best trigger EVAR, and simultaneously suck big ones (or is that the Heisenberg Principle?).

Granted, can you really trust Robb's judgement? This is the same guy (so I've heard, so it must be true) that like's to wear these when he's not in pants.

I've an p14 45 LDA hiding in a dark corner of the safe from the clinton ban days. It's an unusual trigger to say the least.

I've never seen many discussions on it ether good or bad and occasionally hope someone will start a talk about its long term reliability. Just how dependable and durable is the system? My impression of its trigger action is eerie smooth and light.... It's like Kettle corn at carnivals sweet and salty.

I've always had something like a Kimber CDP or a Sig 229 set up for defensive purposes.

W, I use the LDA for competition as I carry a Glock. Because of this, the trigger is 'similar'. Long pull with a crisp break.

I can totally understand people's reaction to it. It takes some getting used to, and as many have said, it was a solution to a problem nobody had.
