But they ain't hating as strong as they think
I was trying to find some information on what Sarah put up about Obama's lie fest speech last night. People were talking about her Facebook page, so I searched. Seems the Million strong against Sarah Palin is a little weak in the knees.
I just found out, no surprise really, that Sarah never said "I can see Russia from my house." What she said was
GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions, particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of the state give you? PALIN: They're our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.
Being that the Bering Straight is 55 miles wide at its narrowest part, so that's sighting distance on clear days.
What's sad is for all the people claiming how dumb she is, they used more Tina Fey lines than real ones. They had to use a comedienne's portrayal of her in order to score points.
The left's hatred against her I can understand. She's everything a feminist is supposed to be, minus the fact she doesn't get yearly abortions, has faith in God, and is a nasty Republican.
The elite right's disdain for her perplexes me. She runs closer to a true conservative than ANY other politician in recent memory. She's unpolished and closer to the people than the elite, and I think this is the main reason they fear her. If she were to run for president, I'd seriously consider voting for her (depending on her platform, of course). Hell, if she would drop the R from her title, I'd jump even faster.
