It's a TRAP!

Range Time

Going trap shooting tomorrow with Greg. I've shot sporting clays, but never trap. I am now actively looking for a bandoleer to hold my shells. Two, if I can manage it. And a LARGE sombrero.

Come on up to the Titusville Rifle and Pistol Club off of SR 46, west of I-95, exit 223. They shoot trap every 2nd and 4th Sat at 1PM. $4/25 birds. titusvillegun.com

I might head over to Titusville sometime. My uncle lives in Cocoa and would probably come shoot with me. It is a bit of a haul, but if I were going over there to watch a shuttle launch it might be worth it.

Just dump a box in one side, then dump your empties in the other side as they happen.

Glad to see somebody else getting into the shotgun sports.

Trap will probably be pretty boring after doing sporting clays, but it's still a hoot. Just remember your aiming points and work up from there.

A bandolier to hold two shells shouldn't be difficult to craft. Shellholder + spare belt from the closet = there you go.
