Look for some off the wall threat to ANY Open Carry state, a threat to take ALL federal funding away if that law isn’t over turned…

There’s no way that Obama can allow this to just go on like that… It goes against everything he believes in…

TexasFred, there isn't any law to be overturned. Open carry is legal by default in most states. They would have to pass a law to prohibit it which would violate many state constitutions and many decades of court precedent.

In hindsight it's easy to see the Obama administration is in a really poor position to do anything other than what they did.

I'm not going to say it was a brilliant maneuver rather that someone with more balls that brain but I'm going to take the win and run with it with a quick "Thanks" to the guys that took point on this issue.

I'd present chapter and verse regarding Open Carry in Texas and Louisiana but bein' a dumbass Texan, I'd just bet no one would believe me...
