At the time of this writing, there are 79 comments to my post regarding the forged Bush TANG Obama birth certificate memo. I received over 10,000 visits from it making it the most successful post I have ever done.
It is also one of the most illustrating of the problems we face as a society. Namely the pure, unadulterated idiocy that has infected the populace.
There are three types of people who read that post
The latter two I've dealt with before in a very similar situation. But the sheer idiocy of these people is stunning.
For the #2's out there – It's a joke. A faxed, typewritten document is no proof at all, just like Bush's TANG document (which mine is a copy of practically verbatim). The joke is meant to be on the Birthers who are putting so much effort into proving Obama is some sort of 'furriner'.
Being that most people's political memories are less than one election cycle, I can understand some people's confusion on it being a joke. However, a quick read would have clued anyone in. I don't think that's what happened here. I'd be willing to bet many of the leftists that came here saw the headline of the article then scrolled directly to the bottom to leave a comment about how I, not being exactly white, am a white supremacist racist, Republican thug. I keep meaning to check my voter registration card since everyone assures me I've got an 'R' on there when I distinctly remembered having an 'I'.
Instead of engaging in 3 or 4 seconds of critical thought, these morons can only spew tired clichés and hateful screeds. You're against Obama, you must be a racist!!!! Or a Republican!!! And these idiots vote.
For the #3's out there, let me reiterate – IT WAS A FRIGGIN' JOKE. Just like your conspiracy that Obama wasn't born in Hawaii. Why won't Obama release the documents? Because it brings the idiots out of the woodwork which works to his advantage. That, and I believe there's something slightly embarrassing on it like the religion field or maybe he's not really the product of a virgin birth. Whatever it is, Obama is the POTUS and if you really want to change that, then work to get better candidates to run against him than Grumpy McShitsandwich you tried last time.
