Thanks to JayG who sent me a copy of Monster Hunter International by world renowned Blogger and H&K fanboy Larry Correia (and to Heath, who is the actual owner of said book).
I finished it last night and let me say, what a ride! It's got guns, vampires, werewolves, guns, monsters, and guns. Lots of guns. Larry is a former gun store owner, so not only are there guns in the book, they're accurately portrayed (including getting clip and magazine right!).
If you've tried to find the book you know it was damned near impossible to score since the original print was a limited run. Well, lucky for the rest of you, Monster Hunter International is now available to purchase from Amazon.
Five days after Owen Zastava Pitt pushed his insufferable boss out of a fourteenth story window, he woke up in the hospital with a scarred face, an unbelievable memory, and a job offer. It turns out that monsters are real. All the things from myth, legend, and B-movies are out there, waiting in the shadows. Officially secret, some of them are evil, and some are just hungry. On the other side are the people who kill monsters for a living. Monster Hunter International is the premier eradication company in the business. And now Owen is their newest recruit.

I'm telling you, you won't be able to put it down!
