The Stupidity, it BURNS

Hey, let's take a great photograph of people shooting by squatting in between their targets.

There is no excuse for that at all. Even the best miss from time to time. In his effort to be 'edgy', this idiot has given a very bad impression. I have no desire to make what he did illegal, but I do have every right to call him a moron and to shun him from dinner parties.

I've taken numerous classes over the years - some of which included photography and videography and I have never seen something like that. Damn... spend the money on a tripod and a remote.

Had I been on the line, I would have refused to take part in a stunt like that and walked off until down range was clear.

Unbelievable! I shot a regional match once that had a video camera, remotely operated, in the target area.

It didn't survive the match...

I remember seeing some show on the Outdoor Channel where, every time the had a camera in front of the firing line, they flashed a little message in the corner of the screen that said "remote camera".

There's a reason for that. This idiot is lucky he didn't learn it the hard way.

After viewing the video, all I can say is "he wasn't in any real danger". I mean, as slow and as carefully as they were shooting? They did not appear to be hitting the targets closest to the photog. Intentionally? I think (hope) so. Else their markmanship is not what it should be. And apparently no one forced him, at gunpoint, to take those pics. Some jobs do, after all, involve voluntary acceptance of risk. Wonder how much he got paid? ( And who paid him? Might even be a "disinformation" campaign to make pro-gunnies look bad.)

You can get a traditional Austrian casket kit from Amazon for only $895, don't know about future wage-prospects - that's all in an insurance actuarial table somewhere.
