Guns. Lots of Guns.

Tennessee apparently had someone at a state park with a gun.

We had a similar incident today. Apparently, a man entered a local, small zoo while carrying a large handgun and from initial reports, even proceeded to hand feed a flamingo

Interestingly enough, the flamingo didn't receive several 10mm bullets to the brainpan upon biting the man with the gun. A faulty mind-control chip in the firearm would appear to be at fault.

Wow, we had a guy carrying a large caliber wheelgun in a local bookstore coffeeshop this afternoon, and not a single shot was fired. In fact, it was so totally Idaho that nobody even noticed. Even after a very large cup of high test and a jumbo chocolate chip cookie, he did not lose control or go on a rampage. This gun stuff is getting boring.

The Open Carry movement is alive and well! Here (California) you cannot have bullets in the gun so it would be hard to shoot anything. I suppose you could pull the gun out and scream "Boom Boom Pow!" and make everyone think you are one of the Black Eyed Peas?

UBU52, do you see a firearm on me? Look closely. You've mentioned that it's easy to spot the criminals because they're the ones carrying. I'd like for you to point out where at on my body the pistol is.

And I'm glad to know the laws are in place in California that require a firearm to be a useless chunk of lead. How's that crime rate of yours doing? You say you have to have police standing every 200 ft. Those laws must really be doing some good.

Ummm. . . unless I've recently gone blind, I don't see a gun of any kind anywhere around the man feeding the flamingo in the picture. Unless it's - GASP! - hidden under his baggy t-shirt! Or maybe under the little girl's shoe! Oh my goodness! Strip search everyone! Round up the usual suspects! Ahhhhh!!!

Glock was using the cheap Chinese B27H chip for years. Only recently have they switched to Intel.

Your 10mm must have been manufactured several years ago.

At the North meets South gunblogger meet (when Jay G came to Disney), my wife and I got to meet Robb, among others. Afterwards, I said something to her about Robb hiding a 10mm handgun somewhere on him, and we both agreed that we couldn't tell exactly where he was hiding it. (Fortunately, he was actually wearing pants.)

I don't dress very differently if I'm packing as to when I'm not. Florida requires baggy t-shirts by law as it is, so there's nothing out of the ordinary that would give it away.

Andrew, it's a Glock 29 which even though is considered a 'subcompact', it's a bit bulky. I carry in a CTAC which allows me to tuck a shirt, I just don't.
