For someone like that, I would think that's probably JUST the .223 safe.

The .308 safe is downstairs, next to the 50BMG storage shed.

It's really only the jackpot if there's another safe or two full of ammo. And yes, I do know someone who has multiple safes and two are used for ammo only.

Honestly, apart from the magazines, I cannot really see myself doing that... I mean, how many rifles can I carry? I would just invest the money in more and more and more ammo/magazines, and lots of spare parts.

I agree with Linoge to a point.

I have several Mosin Nagant rifles I consider "give-away guns" if the SHTF.

Never paid more than $75 for any of them and they're accurate enough, considering you can subject them to physical abuse that an AK-47 couldn't tolerate.
