Guy is at his kid's school. There is an altercation and a knife is pulled (apparently the No Gun forcefield doesn't work on knives). Guy takes his handgun out of the glove compartment and puts it on his seat. Situation diffused, but guy gets convicted of handling a gun on school property.
Judge informs him that he should have pointed it at the knife wielder instead. That way, it was self defense.
Logic. Not a requirement for a job in the field of justice dispensation.
