Caleb and I have been tossing around an idea for a Gunblogger Invitational Shootoff. Right now, the only thing that's nailed down is the idea that it would be cool to get the gun bloggers together for an actual shooting match. Outside of that, we're not sure of a time, place, or anything. Hell, the title is up for change.
Location wise, Caleb is pushing for Indiana. There are several reasons. One, that means no travel for him. Two, he can organize things utilizing the rages he's familiar with. Three, Indiana is cheap to get to. From what I hear, even most of the smaller towns have indoor plumbing and electricity.
I'm pushing for the Orlando area of Florida. Why? One, it costs me a few bucks in gas to get there rather than hundreds for a flight / hotel. Two, it's family friendly. It's easier to rationalize going because you can make it a family vacation as well.
Anyway, go over and give him your ideas, suggestions, complaints, ideas, etc.
