Called a place today that will have the KelTec P3AT on Tuesday and at the MSRP rather than some jacked up crap people are asking for.

So, I guess I will get it now. That's if I can be there at the store at the exact minute they get them in. The last ones never made it to the shelves.

It's all in who you know. I got mine for below retail plus a few boxes of cartridges, from a guy whose eyes and trigger control are bad enough he literally couldn't keep it on paper at 7 yards.

Good choice, mine's on my hip in a Galco Ultimate 2nd Amendment as I type this.

Finding .380 ACP can be tough, though. Even the ranges that rent .380 pistols here are out of it around here. When you find some, there's a bunch of good ammo tests on the Kel-Tec Owners Group forums (http://www.ktog.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1199737660). I carry Golden Sabers in mine, but I'm switching over to Gold Dots this month.

It's a great little gun, and is so small and light you'll forget you have it.

Where are you people trying to buy ammunition? In preparation for a recent shooting party, I went in to the local gun store and plunked down a small pile of cash for a small pile of ammunition. They had some in every caliber I wanted (including .380) and the only one in even slightly short supply was 7.62x39 which was limited to 5 boxes per customer.

Enjoy what you have, Vote for Dacid. Anywhere in the Phoenix metro area is basically an ammo-free zone. Wal-Mart, gun stores, sporting goods stores, you name, they don't have it. Nothing but rifle calibers like .30-30 and .30-06 and some .22lr, for the most part, but Cabelas did have a good stock of .223 and .308 last time I was there, though I doubt that lasted long.

MSJ - I can't find anyone who actually carries the PF9 so I can't judge it.

And ammo is going to be tricky for a while. I just have to accept that until this craze dies down. That might be a 4 year wait though with what we have I'm Washington.

Keven ain't woofin' about the ammo situation lots of places. In the OKC area, in the last month I've seen one place that had .380, and all they had was ball.

Fiftycal, it has been indicated by several gun salesmen that those are illegal in Florida. I'll have to check to see where and why if it's true or not.
