Well, I think my quest for a mouse gun has come to an end. Weighing the pros and cons of each model, I'm either going to pay out the ass for a heavy, very reliable, brick that is in stock, or I'm going to pay out the ass for a light, semi-reliable pistol that's rarely in stock.
And over $350 for a .380 pocket pistol is just not what I consider to be worth my money. I prefer the slight discomfort of my normal carry piece for the prices these people are asking. $400 for a pistol with an MSRP of $280 is just not worth it. I've gone this long without one, I'll just wait this mad rush out until the market gets back to where it should be.
I had a budget of about $450. I wanted to be able to include a holster and any accessories that would be needed in that.
I have several options. One, just sit on the cash and wait, but that would require patience, something I lack in large quantities.
Two – Try to drum up some outside business and pick up enough scratch to grab something like a Para GI Expert to use as a backup piece for competition. Yeah, I'm selling bumper stickers and doing Google ads, but that's netting me tens of dollars, not the hundreds I need for that. If I'm going to spend $550 on a firearm, it should be a real gun. Anyone need any web work / design?
Three – Buy a new red dot for the AR. I cheaped out with my last one and paid the price. The damned thing doesn't work any more since it couldn't handle the hammering the rifle provided. An EOTech is a good deal. I'm not sure about the Donut of Death, but apparently you can get good results with it.
Four – Donate the money to homeless children who don't have guns.
I dunno, what's your thoughts?
And some of us warned you about that.
