This was not the right time, and definitely not the right place
The alleged crook scooped up four Smith & Wesson guns from a vendor's table at the RK Gun Inc. show Sunday at Cessna Activity Center, 2744 George Washington Blvd. But he didn't make it far. The vendor and at least two others who were at the show grabbed the man before he could make it out the door, held him down, then cuffed him with zip ties -- hard plastic fasteners -- until law enforcement officers arrived. Austin Sechler, the vendor who said the man tried to steal from him, said it was "the very wrong place to do this."

Understatement of the year.
Now, let's look at what DIDN'T happen. Hordes of testosterone and elk jerky fueled rednecks did not pull out their fully automatic Glock 17s and start shooting, killing everyone in the cross fire. In fact, nobody pulled a gun at all.
At a gun show.
If you were to believe the Brady's, out of the 1,228 attendees, there should have been 1355 deaths and blood should have flowed between the Nazi paraphernalia and the Ron Paul for President 2008 booth, but alas cooler head prevailed and the perp was simply tackled.
