I'm not a tacticool kind of guy. I've always put function well over form in practically everything I've owned, from cars to guns. I don't care about pretty shotguns, I want one that works. I don't need 65 attachments hanging off my AR-15 because it's what all the cool kids are doing, I just want to be able to place shots on target (a laser? That's acceptable).
However, there are times when my sense of "If it doesn't have a use, I don't need it" can be overridden.
The KRISS Super V is just such an example.
I admit the recoil system is geekily cool but that really only comes into play when full auto is used, and as you know, us subjects are not trustable with full auto weapons that were made after 1986. The damned thing is ugly as sin, is as useful as President Cuecard without his Teleprompter, and costs enough to require the sale of one or both of my children, but that still doesn't stop me from lusting after it.
Ah, oh well.
