Finally got to watch BSG. Kick ass way to start the new season. Holy crap was that a ride.

Is who Tigh said was the fifth Cylon really the fifth Cylon? What the hell is up with Starbuck? Please tell me there's no time travel shenanigans going on here. Were the Cylons really first? Is everyone going to go apeshit? Will Madam President get her act back together? Hated to see what happened to Dee.

It was a long wait, but that was definitely worth it.

I think I started hating BSG when my wife commented that it was starting to sound a lot like Lost.

If I want a mystery/romance scifi show, I can just watch Jack and Kate try to get off The Island.

The most interesting theory I've found is that Ellen isn't #12 but rather another #6, and it does make a surprising amount of sense to me. If this is the case, maybe we'll see "archetypes" of the models we know show up in flashbacks over the season.

I'd also like to go on the record as predicting that Dee will mysteriously return in a few episodes (if that many)...although I just realized that she died on the ship and not on Earth as I'd thought.

Wolf, I can totally see Ellen being a #6 model. That would explain why Tigh was all sorts of confused when talking with the one they have imprisoned (as for knocking her up, I can chalk that one up to testosterone).

You think Dee could be a Cylon? That would be interesting.

The thing with Kara Thrace scares me, though. So far, there's been very little Deus Ex Machina . As long as they don't rely on time travel to 'fix' the story, I guess it will be ok. Still scary.

I can see it, but in some ways it feels like an easy out. There are other more interesting choices, Billy, Lampkin, Dee, Zarek. The thing with Starbuck does kind of jive with the original series, But it will be interesting to see how they explain it.
