I've mentioned before my immediate neighbor liked guns and the house on the other side is for sale, but the previous owner was a gun owner as well. Two houses down from that one are some great people who had a little holiday get together last night and we dropped by and got to know some other neighbors.
The gentleman that lives across the street from me doesn't own any guns, but expressed interest in learning, and I'm going to take him up on that opportunity (maybe finally score some points on Greg's contest). Another guy down the street was there and he's an NRA Certified instructor.
We spent several hours discussing computers, guns, and hunting.
I'm glad I live where I do!
