Sorry, no camera on me. Besides, there's unfortunately an image of a fat guy dressed in bright green and red leotards with a metric foot of butt crack showing that I simply do not want to relive.

As tempted as I am to respond with the rubber stamped response own to the temple of the screaming electron: "pics or gtfo!", I do agree that that is not something I'd like to be exposed to.
So, thank you for sparing me the sight and may you and your daughters many another fun day out.

"Elves"? Odd but usually civil. Fun to watch them try and imitate the fluid movements Tolkeineske elves were supposed to have.
The REAL weird ones are the "Vampire" types. I remember having endless problems w/ them at the game store I used to work at. Had one guy who was so into the game that he had problems differentiating real life. He crossed his arms (the sign you're 'invisible') and tried to walk out w/ an unpaid for book. He was most baffled when I grabbed him and dragged him back into the store to wait for security. Couldn't understand how I saw him.

I essentially lost a friend to Vampire LARP-ing. He didn't quite cross any of the thirdpower lines of using in-game actions on people not playing....or even aware of such games. Still he started with pen-and-paper, moved up to LARPs. Soon all he'd talk about was what his charactor was doing (thankfully not what "HE" was doing, it was always spoken like a 3rd party) but in the end when I decided not to bother with him anymore it appeared that while he hadn't lost his reality to the game like other's I'd seen...he was never actually NOT PLAYING it. He'd get an email or a phone text, or an IM that was some in-game chatter, and he'd respond, often interupting a conversation or an activity just so his vampire could be prompt in his responce.
Sad when you'd think Heroine addiction would be more dignified....
