I'm not going to lie, I don't need a Desert Eagle. You can't conceal them, they're too heavy and bulky, but dammit you can shoot a .357 Magnum out of them and what red blooded American doesn't love the .357 Magnum cartridge? It's all about the WANT!!!
Granted, most people would get the DE in 50AE or 44Magnum, and I can't blame them. But there's a soft spot in my heart for .357 Magnum and if I ever hit the lottery and finally get my fill of 1911's in 10mm, the Desert Eagle will be next on my list.
