4th Generation Glocks - Same gun, different pattern on the grip! OOOH, maybe they can come in different shades of black and be called 5th generation!
Seriously, when I consider a different model of a firearm, I want it to have major changes, not just a different stippling pattern. Heck, change the grip angle since that seems to be the #1 complaint about Glocks.
I love my G29. Reliable, ugly as a brick, and conceals nicely. Uncomfortable to shoot more than a half hour. Feels like an extension of my arm insofar as had my arm been broken as a child and set at the completely wrong angle. Puts holes pretty much where I tell it to every time I pull the trigger, even when the barrel has been melted down and turned into a metallic statue of Booker T. Washington's dog.
I realize Glock has to do something to appease the masses who believe that everything needs to constantly change in order to be effective as well as give their fanboys something to masturbate over, but this seems quite half hearted.
