A man who helped kill a police officer is offered a reduced sentence for coming forward about the crime. He declines

Then Gamble spoke. He didn't want his sentence changed, he said. He deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison. All he wants is for the remaining suspect to be brought to justice and have to face the victim's family.

Gamble was involved in the murder of a police officer when he and his group were busted planning a bank robbery. For years, nobody knew what happened to Officer Christopher Horner but Gamble came forward and testified against all his accomplices, bringing three of the other four to justice. His guilt weighed upon him enough to turn himself in.
