A buddy of mine (an Obama supporter, but being that I can't find too many people to like me as it is, I can't get too picky with who I call a friend ;) works with the servers and got this email from our France office

Tomorrow, we will walnut the server with coffee

No matter how many times you read it, it refuses to make sense...

I used Google Translate to turn it back into French and then back into English. Here's what I got:

"Tomorrow, we will drown the coffee server"

I think it means they're going to clean their coffee maker tomorrow and they're giving the caffeine addicted geeks a little heads up on the outage.

I worked at a Japanese picture tube company, and our original work instructions were badly translated--One of the more amusing translations:

"The nylon balling in the cornhole is to prevent the spurting of liquids into the corn to reject cause'

(If you knew how the machine worked you could figure out that they meant that the purpose of the nylon ball in the bottom of the cone was to deflect splashes that might cause defects)
