That's something I have to be careful about, and I assume all other activists need to be aware of too. Don't let your strong views on any particular subject turn you into instant-asshole at the drop of a hat. Sometimes it's not warranted. The worst thing an activist can do is turn someone who is ostensibly on their side off the issue because they're so overbearing.
