How fat do you have to be before lethal injection is inhumane?

Apparently, quite a bit more than 5'7" and 267lbs.

For the record, I support the death penalty as a punishment but have little faith in our government to mete it out correctly.

Bullets are relatively cheap, and you'd find NO shortage of volunteers. Plus, there's an exciting, loud BANG, and a dramatic spray of crimson. What's not to like? Erect a suitable bullet-stop at one end of the Town Square, and invite the public.

I agree with you 100%, Robb. I have no doubt that some people really should be put to death for crimes they've committed, but I don't trust the judiciary in this country to work out all the details properly.
