Oh yeah, the Eclipse Custom II in 10mm is what I have. I think I said I had the Eclipse Target II in an earlier post. My bad. I just had an adjustable rear night sight put on. I also ordered 1200 rounds of 180 grain ammo from Cabela's last night. Yay me!

Sorry Robb, I don't have any money to spare right now either. When I win the lottery, I'll remember you. In the meantime, Happy Birthday!!

... unfortunately my hubby's birthday is also on wednesday so my money went on a gift for him (it was either that or have him appropriate my 9mm).

OrangeNeck, it wasn't until I saw an Eclipse in person that I fell in love with it. To me, that's the most beautiful 1911 out there. The fact it can be chambered in 10mm makes it all the more desirable, but the mix of that black, matte finish with the polished steel is striking (and I generally can't stand stainless for a gun).

The Dan Wesson just happens to fit my hand like a glove and has been one of the most comfortable firearms I've ever held (even though it is in stainless!).

My gun guy ordered two Eclipse Custom IIs in 10mm when I told him to order me one. So...he's got another one sitting in his shop, still in the case.

I actually customized my 1911 to slim grips because I have small hands. I say though that the rosewood handles don't look too shabby on it, and I got an adjustable rear sight put on, which they had to machine into the back of the slide. It fits my hand perfectly now and I can use the Todd Jarrett grip technique now. Thanks for those videos, by the way. I'm gonna have to try out that technique the next time I'm at the range.
