HARRISBURG, Pa.—A Pennsylvania court has ruled that Philadelphia officials cannot enact gun laws tougher than the state law.

Those measures would have limited gun purchases to one a month and banned assault weapons, among other things.
City officials have been pushing for tougher local ordinance in response to Philadelphia's one-a-day murder rate and its reputation for being a weapons source for criminals in New York and other states with strict gun laws.

Neither of which affect crime rates. Good to see the bigots get their pee-pee slapped.

Watch the PA anti' gunners crank up the heat regarding a State bill regarding this stuff. Happened with Jersey. When Jersey City got slapped for passing there own gun laws, they just took it to the State level.

I live in a town near Philadelphia called Reading. Our Mayor is trying to enact some of the things that Nutter is trying to enact. I wrote a letter to the editor of the local paper but it was not printed. With this it may be time to turn up the heat on my local media.

Jersey's a fucking lost state. If they had any sense, it wouldn't fill a thimble - halfway. I've bee boycotting NJ since 1995, ever since I got a speeding ticket on the Turnpike, at 1:30 a.m. coming back from PA, doing 70mph, while everyone else was passing me doing 80. This was the Lawrence Township PD that gave me a ticket. I wrote a letter of protest, using the "F" word here and there. They wrote me back and said, use of profanity is and act of Contempt Of Congress. Back then I didn't know any better, so I apologized and paid the ticket. Looking back now, as I'm older and uglier, I should have fought the ticket. And told them I am protected under the 1st Amendment. Bastards. So...my boycott of NJ still stands!!
