Why is it when there's a shooting of innocents, the calls for more gun control reach a feverish pitch but when there's a story about a woman defending her life and those of her family with a firearm, there's not a similar amount of noise given to reducing the restrictions on firearms?
Even though there are more of the latter than the former?
