Knife and gun crime have been under reported, police memo admits
The internal memo, written by a senior officer, says there has been significant under reporting of serious crime and warns of "serious concerns" that confidence in the police and Government will be knocked when the true levels are revealed. ... The good news is that confidence is useless since even if the subjects of England lose all faith in their masters, there's nothing they can do to remedy the situation. It's like having all your teeth pulled then finding out there's no one to chew your food for you.
