I'm downloading Chromium at this time and realizing that, oh shit, it's in C++.

Let's see... The last time I did C++ was 1997 or 1998. Then I did my quick, but not so impressed jaunt with Java, followed by having to (yeeech!) do ASP. When .Net rolled around, I was more interested in Java. Heck, I was trying Python and anything else I could get my hands on to get away from Microsoft.

Until I started learning what .Net was all about. Then I sold my soul to Bill Gates (sorry Bill, no refunds after 60 days).

Now it looks like I'm going to have to remember C++ all over again. Lord help me :)

Update - Not so fast bucko! It would help if I had C++ installed as part of my VS2005. Never did since I never thought I'd need to worry about pointers ever again. Too late to do it tonight. I'll just take the "Porn Mode" out for a spin...

My first goal is to implement some sort of crude Ad-Block.

Next item up for bids - adding words to the dictionary.

Third item - the ability to toggle between normal internet connection and a proxy. Right now, for some God forsaken reason, it wants to use Internet Exploder's settings.

Like I told a good friend of mine at Microsoft, me an EULA's don't get along very well ;)
