However, I'm so used to surfing with Ad-Block on that it's disconcerting to see how ugly the web really is. I'm going to learn the plug in model though. I'm betting there's some money to be made there.

OpenDNS yes, but it doesn't block legitimate ads. I love Ad-Block plus since it lets me block images I don't want to constantly look at too.

eh, nifty but just another flippin' browser. Pick what you like. I have become used to mozilla although it has some adverse reactions to aol mail links at times.

6Kings, I use FF as well, but it's notorious for sucking up huge amounts of memory given enough time and being that 99% of what I use my computer for is web based, that's the norm rather than the exception.

Also, when FF or IE have a tab that has an application that crashes, the whole enchilada goes down. That alone is reason for me to switch to something more stable.

And when I say fast, I mean it. You have to remember, I've been working professionally with web development since 1994. I've heard all the claims of "fast", this is the first browser that really seems to speed things up.

Now, I've only been using it for a few hours and I already miss the plug ins I use with Firefox (I keep seeing ADS!!!! OH NOES!!!!!), but I'm looking into how to write my own plug ins and I know others will be jumping on the bandwagon too.

We'll see how it goes. It sure is nice so far, but give it time it may be as buggy as everything else!

i'm willing to try it out just to see if it works more efficiently than FireFox... if it's faster than Firefox, has tabs and isn't IE, then i'll use it

if it's faster than firefox, isn't IE, has tabs, and has adblock, i might use it. my life's too short to put up with web ads any longer. until it gets adblock, it's still in early alpha --- may be promising, but not yet usable.
