Clayton Cramer on one of the most useful links on the Internet for us gunnies, The Civilian Gun Self-Defense Blog

Increasingly I find myself wondering if continuing this effort really makes any sense. We've made some efforts to engage NRA with this--with no success. There must be some wealthy gun owners or people in the gun business who can see the advantage of what we are doing, and would be willing to provide some limited funding to justify the effort. But if not, the temptation is very strong to stop putting the effort out on this, and let it die.

Say what? The Gun Guys, a total Joyce Foundation financed web site gets something like $20,000 a year to run, why is the NRA can't help with something like this?

Clayton, I'd be more than happy to try to take over and run it myself on my own servers if need be.

It's a shame that protecting rights doesn't pay but lying in an attempt to squash rights apparently pays well.

We win because we're honest, but we lose because we're not cohesive sometimes.
