I had someone comment on why would I ever want to take a picture of my daughter with such a rifle.

Simple, I explained - I wanted a photograph that showed the juxtaposition between something that is generally associated with terror and mayhem and something that is innocent and innocuous, like the rifle.

It's art, baby.

Did you manage to suppress the news coverage?
According to the gun grabbers, there must have been mass murder, mayhem and hysteria minutes after the picture was taken, right?

Well, she just got dropped off at preschool. I'm sure there'll be a blood bath near the swing sets soon. You know how rough those games of tag can get.

I have a picture of my daughter at a tender age, standing at attention with a Mosin-Nagant 91/30, bayonet affixed (of course). The rifle is much longer than she is tall, and the look on her face is priceless.

You have a very beautiful daughter and a very ugly gun. However the gun basks in her glow and becomes prettier when one realizes it is being held by a future full free citizen.

Heh, I've got one of my Granddaughter holding a vintage "High Standard" circa 1950s 22LR target pistol. It's in the holster and I'm holding both her and the gun.

I took lots of flack from relatives for letting her hold a real gun.

BTW, she turned one this past January, after the picture was taken.

Personally, I thing you've got one beautiful little gun and the daughter is even prettier.
