Just bought a Wii

Can't buy just the system, but you can get bundles and since I wanted all the sports games anyway, I picked one up. The Mrs. has wanted it as well and when she found out there was a bowling game, she positively flipped.

I wonder if the gun controller is off limits due to the No Gun Purchases in 2008 Dictum?

Aaaahhh, congrats Robb! I bought one "for my son" last year and we love it. Tennis is quite cool on that system and playing Super Mario really brings me back to the good ol' days. I don't spend as much time on that as the 360, but they're both worthwhile diversions from daily PHP programming.

And technically ... the gun controller doesn't include a wiimote or a nunchuk, so it's more of an accessory. Heh. And it's what ... twenty bucks? I think you're good. It's for the children. :-)

Still buying online was easier than calling every electronics store at 10am every fucking day with credit card in hand in case they say "Yes we got 3!"

I have one, and I love it. It's great for parties and all kinds of stuff.

If you buy one game (ha) buy Blazing Angels. There's nothing more fun that flying around Paris in a P-51 killing germans.

I feel like such a nerd...... There happens to be a gun controller. It is for Resident Evil Chronicles.
