A percoset every few hours and she's running around almost like nothing happened. She's sore and can't move her arm much, but she's had no problems whatsoever.
This morning she got up on her own, took a "bird bath", and even saw herself in the mirror and didn't seem to bother her at all.
Either she's tough as nails or is hiding it perfectly. I'm voting for option one.
Right now, I'm trying to fix her computer. It got hit by lightning a few months ago, and I figured it was the power supply. So I went to Circuit City and picked up a $40 replacement. Unfortunately, it's still dead. Usually the PSU is the first to go and if the system won't even turn on that's usually the culprit. Sadly, the new power supply makes the green light on the board turn on (it's getting power), but I can't get it to turn on even if I short the power pins manually. I'm thinking dead motherboard, which sucks because it's a specialized Dell model with practically everything integrated. And with the medical bills, affording a new computer probably is out of the question.
I swear she's more upset about that than her surgery. Can't blame her, I'd freak out if I didn't have a computer!
