Sebastian has pointed out a new gun control blog run by Brian Miller. For the interim, Brian is allowing comments, and like the other gun control boards, I strongly suggest you head over and let him know what you think. I am (SaaM), but I have a request for the rest of you.
Let's try to keep our comments as civil as possible and avoid snark when we can. Remember that other people will read this who are not of the same mindset we are and insulting the host or his supporters (although he has less than the Brady Bunch did so far) will gain us no friends.
So far, Brian is showing the same tendency to insult those who disagree with rather than reason with them that caused the Brady's no end of problems. Don't fall into his trap because it weakens your argument. I mean seriously, look what it does to him!
While I'm quickly losing faith in the human ability to reason (just look at DU, Kos, and even the Freepers), I still believe that you can get across to people if you lay out your argument, provide facts and links, and are cordial.
However, let's not let these people spread their lies. Let's correct them when we can, agree with them when they're right, admit when we are wrong, and hopefully we'll wear them down like we've done with the Brady's and various other blogs.
