You know, as I get older, occasionally I will listen to some of the music I listened to as a teenager and think to myself "WTF? How did I ever think this was good music?". I listened to a lot of Metal and Thrash, and today it's just noise.

But I seem to be on a Metallica kick. I mean the old school Metallica. Kill 'em all, Garage Days, Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning. And Justice for all was... ok. Then it just went commercial and started sucking. And I refused to buy Load.

No Remorse just got through blasting my eardrums. And it leaves me feeling a little happy. I find my fingers kind of remember the chords and rhythms and "air guitar" along. People walking by my cube probably think I'm weird. Scratch that, everyone in here knows I'm a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

Odd how one band still sounds just as good, but other stuff I listened to just sounds like utter crap.
